These terms set out the agreement between you and Reputcon for the use of our website and platform. Please read them carefully, as they include important limits on our liability. By joining the waitlist or using Reputcon, you agree to these terms.
1Agreement and who we are
These Terms of Service (the "Terms") are a binding agreement between you and Reputcon ("Reputcon", "we", "us", "our"), a business based in the United Kingdom. They cover the Reputcon website and the Reputcon OS platform (together, the "Service"). If you use the Service on behalf of a business, you confirm you have authority to accept these Terms for it, and "you" means that business. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
2Eligibility
The Service is intended for businesses and for users who are at least 18 years old. By using it you confirm that both are true, and that the information you give us is accurate and kept up to date.
3The Service
Reputcon is a reputation and business intelligence platform that helps businesses gather genuine customer reviews, monitor their standing, track competitors and act on what matters. Reputcon is currently in pre-launch, and parts of the Service are not yet generally available. We may add, change or remove features as the Service develops.
Project Argus. Project Argus, at project-argus.reputcon.com, is a separate free tool we publish alongside the Service. It plots public data feeds on a world map. It has no account, no subscription and no support commitment. You may use it for your own purposes, including commercial ones, subject to these Terms and to the terms of the underlying data sources described in section 11. We may change it, limit it, or withdraw it entirely at any time and without notice. Where these Terms refer to the Service, they apply to Project Argus too, except for the sections on accounts, fees and billing, which do not apply to it at all.
Project Argus is not a navigation or safety system. It shows aircraft, vessel, seismic, volcanic, weather, space weather and hazard information gathered from public feeds. That information may be delayed, incomplete, out of date, inaccurate or entirely unavailable, and coverage varies by region and by feed. You must not rely on Project Argus for navigation, for aviation or marine operations, for emergency response, or for any decision affecting safety of life, health, property or the environment. Always use the official source: the relevant air traffic control, coastguard, meteorological office, geological survey or civil authority. We provide it for general interest and situational awareness only.
4The waitlist
Joining the waitlist registers your interest and lets us contact you when Reputcon opens. It does not create an account, does not guarantee access, and does not lock in any particular price or feature. We may change the Service, its features and its pricing before launch.
5Founding members and the referral programme
Before launch you can create a founding member account on our website. Founding members receive 10% off their subscription price for their first 6 months, applied automatically from their first payment when the Service launches. After the 6 months, the standard price for the chosen edition applies. The discount has no cash value, cannot be exchanged or transferred, and applies only while the subscription remains active and in good standing.
From launch, members may receive a personal referral code. A referral is successful only when a genuinely new customer subscribes using that code and their first payment clears and is not refunded or subject to a chargeback within 14 days. For each successful referral: the new customer receives 10% off for their first 2 months, and the referrer receives 10% off for 2 months (or a combined 15% for those 2 months if the referrer is a founding member still within their first 6 months; discounts never stack beyond these totals). Referral reward months are capped: a member can hold at most 12 months of unused referral reward at any one time, and referrals beyond that cap do not accrue anything. If a subscription is cancelled, its discounts end immediately and any unused reward months are forfeited.
The following do not qualify and may lead to rewards being voided or accounts suspended: referring yourself, referrals between accounts under common ownership or control, reciprocal or circular referral arrangements, duplicate accounts for the same business, and any other use of the programme we reasonably consider abusive. All discounts and prices are shown before any applicable taxes. We may amend, suspend or withdraw the founding member offer or the referral programme at any time; changes do not affect discounts already applied to past invoices.
6Your account
When accounts become available, you agree to provide accurate information, to keep your login credentials confidential, and to be responsible for all activity that happens under your account. Tell us promptly at contact@reputcon.com if you believe your account has been accessed without permission.
7Acceptable use
Reputcon exists to help you earn and manage genuine reputation. You agree not to:
- use the Service to create, solicit, incentivise or post fake or misleading reviews, or otherwise breach the policies of Google or any platform you connect;
- use the Service unlawfully, or to harass, defame, mislead or harm others;
- upload anything unlawful, infringing or harmful, or anything you do not have the right to provide;
- attempt to disrupt, probe, reverse engineer, copy or gain unauthorised access to the Service or its systems;
- resell, sublicense or provide the Service to others except as expressly permitted.
You are responsible for everyone you allow to use the Service through your account.
8Your data and your responsibilities
You keep ownership of the business and customer data you put into Reputcon ("Your Data"). You grant us a limited licence to host, process and display Your Data only as needed to provide and improve the Service. You confirm that you have the right to provide Your Data and to let us process it on your behalf, that you will handle your own customers' personal data lawfully, and that you will comply with the terms of any third-party service you connect, including Google. Our handling of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy.
9Fees, billing and cancellation
- When the Service launches, paid plans are billed in advance through our payment processor on the basis shown at checkout.
- Subscriptions renew automatically for the same period unless you cancel before the renewal date. You can cancel at any time, effective at the end of your current billing period.
- Except where the law requires or we state otherwise, fees already paid are non-refundable, and cancelling does not entitle you to a refund for the current period.
- Prices are exclusive of VAT and other taxes unless stated, which we add where applicable.
- We may change pricing, and will give you reasonable notice before a change affects your renewals.
10Intellectual property
Reputcon, the Reputcon OS platform, and all related software, design, text and branding are owned by Reputcon and protected by law. These Terms do not transfer any of our intellectual property to you. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to use the Service while these Terms are in force. You may not use our name or branding without our written permission.
11Third-party services
The Service connects to third-party platforms, such as Google Business Profile and our payment processor. Your use of those services is also governed by their own terms, and we are not responsible for them. Reputcon is independent and is not endorsed by or affiliated with Google.
Project Argus data sources. Project Argus displays information gathered from a large number of independent public feeds, including government and scientific bodies such as the United States Geological Survey, NASA, the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, the National Weather Service and the Smithsonian Global Volcanism Program, open community projects such as OpenStreetMap and community flight tracking networks, and public news feeds. We do not own that data, we do not verify it, and we give no warranty about it. It remains the property of, and subject to the terms and licences of, whoever publishes it, and those publishers are credited in the terminal. Some sources restrict commercial or bulk use; if you intend to rely on a particular feed, check that publisher's own licence. We may add or drop sources at any time as their availability changes.
12Availability
The Service is provided on an "as available" basis. We work to keep it running reliably but do not guarantee uninterrupted access, and we may carry out maintenance, updates or changes that cause temporary downtime.
13Disclaimers
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" and we exclude all implied warranties. Reputcon helps you improve and protect your reputation, but we do not guarantee any specific outcome, rating, ranking, result or level of business. Insights and recommendations are decision support, not professional advice, and you remain responsible for the decisions you make.
14Limitation of liability
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.
Subject to that, to the fullest extent permitted by law:
- we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of profits, revenue, business, goodwill, anticipated savings, or loss or corruption of data;
- our total liability arising out of or in connection with the Service, whether in contract, tort (including negligence) or otherwise, is limited to the greater of the fees you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or one hundred pounds (£100).
15Indemnity
You agree to indemnify us against reasonable losses, damages and costs we suffer arising from your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the Service, Your Data, or your failure to comply with any law or third-party terms.
16Suspension and termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you breach these Terms, fail to pay, or where we reasonably need to for legal, security or operational reasons. On termination, the rights granted to you end; sections that by their nature should survive (such as data, intellectual property, disclaimers, liability and indemnity) continue to apply.
17Changes to the Service or these Terms
We may update these Terms as Reputcon develops or the law changes. When we make a material change, we will update the date above and, where appropriate, let you know. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
18General
If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest continues to apply. Our failure to enforce a right is not a waiver of it. You may not transfer your rights under these Terms without our consent; we may transfer ours as part of a reorganisation or sale. Neither party is liable for failure caused by events beyond its reasonable control. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between us about the Service.
19Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms and any dispute arising from them are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, except where mandatory local law gives you other rights.
