Reputcon Is Now a Registered UK Company, and Stage Two Starts Here
REPUTCON LTD was incorporated at Companies House today, the 28th of September 2026. Company number 17486849, registered in England and Wales, registered office in Bristol.
It is a filing. It takes a few minutes and a small fee, and in one sense nothing about the product changed today. In another sense a great deal did, because the thing being built now exists as something other than an idea and a domain name. It has a number, an address and a legal identity, and anyone who wants to check any of that can go and look it up without asking permission.
That matters more than it might sound, for a reason worth being blunt about.
Being checkable is part of the point
Reputcon is a reputation and business intelligence system. Asking a small business owner to trust a company that is itself untraceable would be a strange way to start.
So: registered company, real number, real registered office in Bristol, on a public register that anybody can search for free. Not because a registration proves a product is any good, because it does not. But it means the first question a sensible person asks, is this a real company or two people and a landing page, now has an answer that does not depend on us saying so.
Where the roadmap stands
The plan has been public on the showcase page from the beginning, in three stages.
Stage one is the waitlist. Register interest, be first in line. That is where things have been until today, and the waitlist stays open.
Stage two is pre-launch. The showcase opens and businesses get a full, guided look at Reputcon in action before it goes live to everyone. More businesses get invited in ahead of launch.
Stage three is launch. Fully operational and open to sign up.
Today moves things into stage two.
What stage two actually means
Being clear about this, because pre-launch is a phrase that has been used to mean a dozen different things and most of them involve a card.
Nothing is being sold. There is no payment, no pricing, no subscription and no card. Stage two is about showing rather than selling.
What opens is the showcase: a proper guided look at the system, both halves of it. The reputation side, which watches what is being said about a business and what that adds up to. And the business intelligence side, which is the part most people do not expect and the part that took the longest to build. Rather than describing that in another blog post, the showcase lets people see it working.
Alongside that, more businesses get invited in. The waitlist has been quietly growing for months, and stage two is where that turns into people actually getting their hands on it ahead of general release.
Why show it before launch
Two reasons, and neither is marketing.
The first is that software built in isolation is software built on assumptions. Everything in Reputcon so far has been shaped by conversations with owners about what actually goes wrong in their week, and the more of those conversations happen before launch rather than after, the better the thing is on the day it opens.
The second is simpler. It is easier to decide whether something is useful by looking at it than by reading about it. Plenty of what Reputcon does sounds abstract written down and becomes obvious in about ten seconds on screen.
Founding members
Everyone joining the waitlist now comes in as a founding member.
That means being among the first to get access as stage two opens, seeing the system before general release, and having a real say in what gets built next while it is still cheap to change direction. The people who join at this stage shape what launches, which is not something that can be said once stage three arrives.
There is no cost to it and nothing to pay. It is a list of businesses who want to see it early.
